RELOADING CLASS -- RIFLE & PISTOL CARTRIDGES

For the price of two boxes of ammunition, you can gain the lifetime skill of ammunition reloading. Attend the NRA Basic Reloading Course for Metallic Cartridges held at MSA Dates TBD. A team of NRA Certified Firearms Instructors will provide this 8-hour course which covers the basic knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to safely reload metallic cartridges for your rifle or handgun. The $50 fee covers the NRA Reloading textbook, NRA Safety Rules pamphlet, use of all reloading equipment and supplies, as well as a full day’s training.

Topics include introduction to reloading and reloading safety, using the reloading manual and reloading data, selecting and setting up reloading equipment, requirements for a basic reloading bench, and a hands-on opportunity to practice reloading pistol and rifle cartridges.

An NRA Certificate of Completion will be awarded for successfully completing the course. This is not an advanced reloading course; it is intended for beginning reloaders. Pre-registration is required as class size is limited—for more information or to register for the class, contact Ron Keslar, 717-432-9039, rjkeslar@aol.com.

2024  INTRODUCTORY/REFRESHER PISTOL TRAINING

Offering sessions for anyone interested in learning to safely handle and shoot a pistol. The courses also serve as a refresher for those who may have found their handgun skills have gotten stale. Participants are not required to be club or NRA members.

Each session is a complete 4-hour program that provides beginning shooters with an introduction to the knowledge, skills, and attitudes
necessary to own and safely use a pistol. It is something that the National Rifle Association developed to meet the need for a firearms orientation for new gun purchasers. It is also appropriate for experienced shooters seeking to refresh their knowledge.

Students receive the Basics of Pistol Shooting Handbook as well as practical hands-on lessons on the safe use, range firing, cleaning, and
storage of their pistol. Training is conducted by experienced NRA-certified instructors. Students will receive feedback on the live-fire exercise and a certificate upon successful completion of the course.

Sessions Typically Run 1:00 pm-5:00 pm. (Please check the upcoming classes link below for details with dates and times.)

Fee: $75 per person  - Due at the class

All equipment and supplies will be provided, including firearms and ammunition.
